The Word Thief
Words are not free. This is a definitive theme in Bradley Cooper's intriguing new film The Words. Cooper plays Rory Jansen, a writer who just wants to make a living with the next great American novel. Frustrated and broke from years trying to be a writer, Janson stumbles upon a manuscript, and claims it for his own. The words of another man become his ticket to fame and fortune, but everything, including stolen words, have a cost. The question is, what will Janson give for these words? How far will he go?
The movie also stars Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek), Olivia Wilde (House), Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian), and Jeremy Irons (everything awesome including Lion King). The trailer looks as though the story will follow the life of Cooper's character as well as the life of the true writer of the famous story that is plagiarized. Check on the trailer here and look out for it in theaters this September. I know I will.
